Jerry is a Grand Life Master, ACBL Columnist, in demand partner and teacher. He informs us he is retired (from doing workshops) but for us, he is coming out of retirement!
Jerry is a Grand Life Master who has accumulated over 30,000 masterpoints. As a member of the National Speakers Program, he provides free lectures at all NABC tournaments. In addition to professional play, much of his time is spent performing seminars across North America. His “Ask Jerry” column is a monthly feature in the ACBL Bulletin. Jerry is the author of Helms to HELLO, The Best of Ask Jerry, and Over My Shoulder. All publications are available directly from Jerry, or from major bridge book dealers.
Saturday June 27 at the KC Bridge Studio, a good time was had by all and quite a bit of learning went along with it! We had 19 adults and 7 kids participating throughout the day! The kids probably thought the donuts and lunch were the best part, although I’m sure they learned some things as well, The adults ranged from beginner to intermediates and everybody enjoyed the deals and learned something too. And of course, everybody was entertained throughout by Jerry!
This event was held with support from ACBL and the ACBL Educational Foundation. Thanks are also in order to Lee Goodman and David Rhea for allowing us to have the workshop when a game would normally be scheduled at the Studio.
